Twists and turns at the 2023 Chamonix Climbing World Cup
Cinderella in the French camp
Without wishing to be chauvinistic, as a French climbing brand, we are very happy with the result of the Chamonix Climbing World Cup!
Hélène Janicot leaves with a bronze medal in the women's category, and Sam Havezou (the ultra-Avezou!) leaves with the silver medal in the men's category.
Without forgetting of course, Victoire Andrier's silver medal in the women's speed category.
Only three weeks after his very first international podium in the Bouldering World Cup in Innsbruck, Sam Havesou signed his first international medal among seniors in the difficulty category.
Same Cinderella story for Hélène Janicot: a return to an international podium after several years of absence. His last international podium dates back to... 2014!
VerticalBoard madness
We were obviously present at this event!
In partnership with Au Vieux Campeur, we have installed our structure to allow thousands of spectators to be able to test and train on our VerticalBoard climbing hangboards .
Facing a magical landscape, surrounded by the Mont Blanc, the Drus and the Aiguilles Rouges, the VerticalBoard test pleased both the youngest and the most experienced. In this context, 3 comments came back regularly to qualify our training hangboards:
- The quality of the wood makes it possible not to damage your hands
- The compatibility of magnetic inserts and elastics allow an unequaled amplitude of progression
- The range made up of 4 VerticalBoards adapted to the levels of climbers, from beginner to expert, allows you to select the one that best suits your person.
To sum up
Thank you to all those who tested our products, who participated in our challenges, or who simply came to see an exceptional event!
And thank you to the athletes for their performances, their involvement and their motivation.
