Present at the climbing world cup... on ice!

On January 20 and 21, part of the YY Vertical team was present in Champagny-en-Vanoise for the second stage of the Ice Climbing World Cup for the 2023 season.

We arrived on Saturday morning around 8am, the thermometer announced -20°C. The sun was already pointing the tip of its nose and the surrounding freshly snow-capped peaks were beginning to shine.

YY Vertical is committed to supporting ice climbing in its evolution. It is by going to these kinds of events that we continue to develop our presence in the world of climbing.

The event was well organized, the show was on point and in general, the athletes, the public and the organization were very satisfied. The athletes delivered phenomenal performances but the French Louna Ladevant outclassed everyone to win the title of world champion. Cock-a-doodle Doo !
