VerticalBoard: the range

VerticalBoard: 4 climbing hangboards to meet the needs of every climber.

At YY Vertical, we wanted to create a range of climbing training hangboards to suit every climber. Whether in terms of technicality, functionality, accessibility or price.
We have designed 4 climbing hangboards . One for each level: beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert.

The hangboards were created by our R&D department, staffed by seasoned climbers and trainers, and with the help of professional climbers. This has enabled us to develop a range of training tools capable of meeting the needs of all climbers.

The entire range has common features:

• Ergonomics: with their rounded corners, VerticalBoards make it comfortable to repeat exercises in the same grip.
• Poplar wood: this wood has a very good grip on the skin, while preserving it. It's also a fast-growing wood that requires very little water.
• Rubber band attachment: all VerticalBoards allow you to attach or attach a rubber band to relieve the weight of the board, thus facilitating progress.
• inserts : magnetic inserts provide even greater functionality. By reducing the depth of the holds, they increase the amplitude of work and progression.

All VerticalBoards are compatible with our inserts. Only VerticalBoard One and Evo are sold directly with the inserts.

VerticalBoard Light: the most affordable hangboard available

The VerticalBoard Light has been designed for beginners looking for an essential and accessible training tool.

It includes all the classic climbing training items: trays, rulers, two phalanxes and 1 phalanx rulers (20mm), ideal for getting started!

Having trouble doing pull-ups? No problem, this hangboard allows you to attach an elastic band to make it easier to do exercises while taking the weight off.

VerticalBoard First: the hangboard to start training seriously

The VerticalBoard First is designed for skilled climbers who want to get stronger so they can go on from one project to the next.

It features a multitude of different depths for progressive training right up to the lens (45mm to 20mm).

Having trouble doing pull-ups? No problem, this hangboard allows you to attach an elastic band to make it easier to do exercises while taking the weight off.

 

The VerticalBoard One : the most versatile hangboard available

The VerticalBoard One is the flagship of the range. It is designed to support climbers over the long term in their increasingly motivating projects.

It combines versatility, comfort and progressiveness with its 15 different grips, central handle and 10mm magnetic inserts .

This hangboard will introduce you to specific holds (bi-fingers, inclined rulers) offering a complete and relevant workout.

The central handle allows one-armed work and is particularly suitable as an attachment point for an elastic band for different exercises or for taking weight off. It is also equipped with a system of inserts.

The VerticalBoard One is suitable for all levels (5b to 8b).

 

VerticalBoard Evo: the hangboard for mutating

The VerticalBoard Evo was created for expert climbers to reach their wildest goals by training on difficult and specific holds.

To achieve this, it features challenging mono, bi-fingers (notably inclined) and flat holds, while retaining the easy grips essential for a good warm-up and progression (25mm, tubs...).

The central handle allows one-armed work and is particularly suitable as an attachment point for an elastic band for different exercises or for taking weight off.
