On January 20 and 21, part of the YY Vertical team was in Champagny-en-Vanoise for the second stage of the 2023 Ice Climbing World Cup.

We arrived on Saturday morning at around 8am, with the thermometer reading -20°C. The sun was already shining and the surrounding peaks, freshly covered in snow, were beginning to shine.

YY Vertical is committed to the evolution of ice climbing. It's by attending events like these that we continue to develop our presence in the climbing community.

The event was well organized, the show was on, and all in all, athletes, public and organization were very satisfied. The athletes delivered phenomenal performances, but France's Louna Ladevant outclassed them all to take the World Champion title. Cock-a-doodle-doo!
